Super Trees

Ever since gardens by the bay opened back in July, this place has been on my “list of places to visit”. We didn’t really walk around that much. We only walked from the car park right up to the super trees area and back out again. I really do need to dedicate a day to explore the whole area and prolly bring along my analog cameras on a picture taking trip… 🙂

Blue blue blues

It was a nice sunday spending time with the man I love and doing lots of window shopping. We didn’t buy anything that day except for a makeup pouch which I got from Muiji. We shared a plate of seafood platter for two and we strolled a little bit longer before making way to his friend’s place to watch soccer. It was funny looking at the boys shouting and sitting at the edge of their seats while watching men kicking some ball on the field. That led me to a question, why do we woman have no such interest in soccer like they do?

It was a fruitful long weekend.

One thing I love about long weekends would be that I’d get to hang out with friends and people whom I’ve not met for a very long time!

Friday, 6th April was girls’s night out.  Few of the girls backed out due to school, shooting and what have you so there’s only three of us left. We went to town, had ayam penyet and did lots of shopping while we’re there. I say we should all do this more often.

Phuket : 3D2N – The best yet.

My birthday falls on February every year and this year, I felt extra special when the bf surprised me with an overseas trip in March. The down side about this trip was the fact that we couldn’t opt for a longer holiday due to school commitment. Thus, we had to settle with just a 3 days 2 nights trip which translates to just 1.5days of going around. Don’t get me wrong, this is still by far the best present ever and I did enjoy myself despite the bad ass tan I got at the end of the trip!

As we go on, we remember.

February has always been a month full of celebrations and one of them has got to be our anniversary celebration. My boyfriend and I met two years back and I guess, we found love in this hopeless place. LOL! The boyfriend was having a rough day during soccer and I was proud that he didn’t bring along his disappointment to dinner. *pats on his back* heh.

To be honest, we didn’t have anything planned. We just knew we wanted to have a simple celebration and be in each other’s company on that day. I voiced out that we should go to Vintage Delicafe! Finally I got to bring him there! I love the place and I want share the love of this place with him.

I couldn’t remember what we ordered but from the picture, I’m sure you can tell the food was good! 🙂

Yes baby, we turned 24months old in February. We still have a long way to go and many more obstacles to go through. But I’m hoping that you’ll never let go of my hands and be with me forever and always. I love you. ❤

Towards the pot of gold we go!

Had a long day in the kitchen yesterday preparing stuffs for the lover boy’s birthday surprise. Decided to make him a rainbow cake! Yay!

I did one last year for Sarah’s birthday and thought I’d try my hands at it again this year.

I nailed the presentation of the cake but I wasn’t very satisfied with the turn out of the cake. I want it to be fluffy and more like a sponge cake texture but the recipe I was using didn’t give such finish. Anyone with a good white cake recipe to recommend me to try? 😛

He was sure surprised by everything I planned for him and the most important thing was that he enjoyed himself.

Majority loved the cake but like I said, I wasn’t satisfied by the texture of the cake and I need a better recipe! 🙂

More updates soon! I promise!

You lose, you get out.

The boys were nice enough to invite us girls play futsal with them. We divided ourselves into three groups and just nice, we had one girl per team. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we extended another extra hour. I’m what you call a kaki bangku. But hey, in defense, I’m a lady! Haha!
