BANGKOK : 4D3N – DAY 3 : Jim Thompson whaaaaat?

We started off our day trying to find Mak Yah’s Restaurant. The food was extremely delicious and the portion size was generous during my last visit. Online review for this restaurant was also great. A friend who recently visited Bangkok a month or two before us actually stopped by and sent us pictures! It was devastating when we found out that Mak Yah’s Restaurant is no longer in operation and we were lucky enough to find another muslim restaurant right beside where Mak Yah used to be located.

After lunch, we girls embarked on a mission to find silk fabric from Jim Thompson and if i remembered correctly, we went to three different Jim Thompson that day. After purchasing from one of the outlets, the worker actually informed us that they indeed have a factory outlet which sells thai silk at much lower price. T.T

BANGKOK : 4D3N – DAY 1 : 5 YEARS LATER…

The last time I was in Bangkok was actually 5 years ago. My first ride on an airplane was to Bangkok. I remembered sleeping at the airport because our flight was super early and we didn’t want to spend money on cab rides from Jurong to Changi. I also remembered being in aww seeing the view outside my window. Being thousand feet high in the sky was awesome yet scary at the same time. You’ll never know what will happen.
