While in JB 012 : Sangkaya ; Nuts about coconuts

Another new kid on the block at Jalan Dhoby is Sangkaya : nuts about coconuts. The shop is right opposite Kone (another ice cream shop).

They have three different flavors to choose from. We went with signature which has 4 scoops of ice creams served inside the coconut husk. We had two scoops of coconut ice cream, one teh tarik and one matcha flavored ice cream.You then get to choose three types of toppings to put on top of your ice cream.

Our verdict, so-so. The ice cream weren’t particularly strong in flavor except for the teh tarik one. I’d suggest skipping this place and go over to Kone / Ice Cream Project to get your ice cream fix. This place ain’t really worth it.
