Haul : November

This month, I found myself feeling more adventurous and got lots of new and never tried before products. I have quite a few products this time round so let’s jump into it. πŸ™‚

Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Cleansing Oil

I’m currently trying to improve my skincare routine and apart from facial cleansers and facial wipes, I needed something which can remove majority of my make up. I never thought oil cleansers could be so good! It even removes my waterproof mascara! The most amazing thing is that it doesn’t leave my skin oily and when it comes in contact with water, it turns into some white non-oily cleanser. It’s like magic. If you haven’t tried this and you use lots of make up on a daily basis and you want to get rid most of the make up off your face, I’d say, GET THIS! πŸ™‚

Right off the bottle, it says – “Specialist skincare for scars, stretch marks, uneven skin tone, ageing skin and dehydrated skin”. It also says that one should “use it twice daily for a minimum of 3 months”.

I got this product in hope that it will help to remove some of the acne scarring on my cheek but after one month, I do not notice any difference and I’m starting to think that I wasted my money on this product which claimed that it can do wonders but seriously, it’s crap. I couldn’t even stand the oiliness gives to my skin that after a few minutes, I had to wipe or wash it off.

SalonPas Pain Relieving Patch

This was a random purchase actually. I think my sleeping position have been weird lately that at times I get aches on my arms so this helps to sort of sooth the ache. πŸ™‚

Revlon Super Lustrous Matte Lipstick in 006 Really RedΒ

Red lips make your look more sophisticated and expensive.Β I’ve always wanted one but I was worried that I couldn’t pull the look. Watsons was having discount on their matte lipsticks and if you know me well, I love my other Revlon matte lipstick. After visiting three different Watsons stores, I finally managed to find this in stock on the shelves. I love it! Of course it’s not a wearable lip color but I’m waiting for that window of opportunity to open where I can flaunt this baby. πŸ™‚

Revlon Liquid Quick Dry

Do you ever feel that once you start painting your nails, 101 things come in mind and it seems like you have to do it at that moment and end up ruining your newly painted nails? I feel that way and I know that I need something to help dry my nails faster and this could probably be the answer. I’m not quite sure how I feel about this product at the moment though. πŸ™‚

Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream

This is sort of a repurchase. I love their moisturizer in the tubes but the other day I decided to purchase the one in the tub instead. The consistency of the moisturizer is different between the two. The one in the tub is much thicker but it works the same. If you have dry combination skin, I’d recommend this moisturizer for you to try!

Garnier BB Eye Roll-on Concealer

I used to use their normal roll-on but the problem with that is me. I tend to remember applying it once I have full face make up on and using the normal roll-on would cause my foundation to sort of smudge. I love this product with a concealer as it helps with the problem I had with the non-concealer one and other than that, it’s also super blendable and it covers my dark circles perfectly. Please do bare in mind that the coverage is very light.

If you have the same problem like I did with the normal roll on and you have minor dark circles, I’d say get this but only when it’s on sale. πŸ™‚

Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Oil

I’d normally buy the body shop brand but I was kind of curious to see if other brands would smell the same and work the same too. This one smells and feels stronger on the skin compared to the one from Body Shop probably because the one from Body Shop is just 15% tea tree oil while the Thursday Plantation contains 100% tea tree oil (as stated on the respective packaging). This should mean that the Thursday Plantation is better right?

Nicole by OPI – Nic’s Sticks in Home by Midnight

I was kind of disappointed with this product. I envisioned a very thin tip but when I took off the cap, the tip is like a nail polish brush! )=

1000 Hour Ultra-Thin Wax Strips

I wax my legs now and then and after trying this product for the first time, I love it cos it doesn’t leave any sticky residue. This time round however, the packaging is different and I have yet to try it out so I couldn’t say if it’s the same and awesome or different and sucky.

Anyways, that’s about it. November hasn’t been great but I’m super happy that December is right at the corner! Hope all of you have a great day ahead!
