Makan, Makan 001 – Udders + B Bakery

My colleagues and I sort of came up with a crazy idea of going for dessert hunting on every Thursday so I guess I’ll start doing a mini series on the places that we went and the desserts that we had and here’s the first.

We initially had ice creams from Udders which is located beside United Square. My favorite flavor has got to be the Mau San Wang Durian which is apparently known to be better than D24. We also had Snickers Mars Honeycomb Vanilla flavor which has chunks of Snickers & Mars inside the ice cream. I can’t recall what’s the other flavor we had though. =/ I’m loving the simple decorations they had, especially their colorful chalked walls.

We then went to B.Bakery located at Bussorah Street in Bugis for our dinner and the main dessert! For the main course, we had Spaghetti Mushroom Carbonara (suitable from mushroom lover!), Spaghetti Seafood Marinara (Very generous with the seafood. Not bad.), Spaghetti Seafood Aglio Olio (very generous with the seafood. strong fishy taste though) and Chicken Mayonnaise Avocado Sandwich (Normal). For desserts, we had Chocolate Fudge (great if you’re a chocolate lover), Chocolate Raspberry Tart (just a slight hint of the raspberry taste), Lemon Tart (not in picture but strongly recommended! the sudden burst of lemon flavor would surprise your taste-bud) and Cinnamon Roll (super sweet and they apparently have only about 9 of them for sale everyday. so first come first served!)

Am looking forward for the next dessert day! And if you’re interested to know more about the place, you might want to visit here for a more expert review of the place. πŸ™‚ Have an awesome weekend everyone!
